Rutgers D1 Men’s Ice Hockey Head Coach, Martin Bernstein, has decided to step down from his role with the team, citing personal reasons.
During his two seasons as Head Coach, Martin Bernstein accumulated a 22-21-2 record in one of the most competitive conferences in the ACHA. During his two-year tenure Bernstein has had the team in the top 25 rankings and has the Ice Knights on the verge of a run at ACHA D1 Nationals.
We know Martin put his heart and soul into the program during his tenure and the Team and Staff would like to thank Martin for his dedication and service to the boys and the program. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors!
The Ice Knights are excited to announce the promotion of Joe Dickson to Head Coach, with Mike Vishnevetsky remaining on board as Associate Head Coach.
